We like to get involved at every stage of your product’s design. That way, we align the manufacture of your tooling to ensure you get the right product at the right price. Having control from beginning to end of the production process not only keeps pricing and security tight but also reduces delays. Servicing a large portfolio of industries such as Electrical, Marine, Medical, Agriculture, Critical Bearings, Automotive and Pharmaceutical; we have a wealth of experience and knowledge that can be tapped into. With that experience we can de-stress the whole design and manufacturing process to ensure that your project is delivered in a timely and professional manner.
We take your bespoke design or concept through CAD, prototyping and tooling to ensure you get the right product at the right price. Prototyping your new product gives you the confidence the product design is to your expectations and verifies the design functionality. Two types of prototypes are available, SLA ‘Stereolithograpghy’ or SLS ‘Selective Laser Sintering’ models, dependant on your needs.
We have invested heavily in new machinery to manufacture precision injection mould tools in-group. We manufacture new tooling, modifications to existing tooling and make alterations if required on transfer tooling. We also offer external off-shore toolmaking – each step is project-managed with a weekly timing plan giving evidence of progress via gantt charts and photographic images. As a key service we offer an extensive tool maintenance programme including full history of work conducted during the tool life at S&S.

Our quality department identifies your critical dimensions and works closely with the customers to offer a variety of quality techniques such as APQP, FMEA, SPC, CMM. With 25 moulding machines from 6T – 550T we’re able to produce your component from a fraction of a gram to 1000g. With over 33 years of injection moulding / manufacturing experience, supplying more than 30 different industries we process an extensive selection of engineering polymers to suit all applications.
Offering you the full turn-key package we have a variety of secondary operations such as Insert Moulding, Over-moulding, Pad Printing, Heat Staking, Foil Block Printing and Ultra-Sonic Welding. We also have a dedicated assembly room in which your mouldings can be built together in a clean environment to suit your individual requirements.
Our warehousing offers service level agreements ranging from 24 hour OTIF to 10 working days. Underwriting your stock benefits you and enables us to be an extension of your warehouse. We have a barcoding system that updates instantly giving us the latest stock quantities and traceability for all our components.
